Marsha Smith, 63, of Beecher City, IL. passed away at 2:25 a.m. Sunday, May 18, 2014 at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at C & A Pagel Funeral Home in St. Elmo, IL with Tom Fedrigon officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the funeral home and one hour prior to funeral service. Burial will be at the Post Oak Cemetery of rural St. Elmo, IL. Memorials may be made to the Post Oak Cemetery or Donor's choice.

Marsha was born on June 6, 1950 in Loudon Township, the daughter of George C. and Marjorie (Logue) Stewart. She married Kenneth R. Smith on April 13, 1979 at Beck's Lake in rural Altamont, IL.

She was a member of the A.B.A.T.E.  and the Fayette County Pork Producers association. She enjoyed working in the concession stands and riding motorcycles.

Marsha was survived by her husband, Kenny Smith of Beecher City, IL. ; two sons, John Stewart (wife Michelle) of St. Elmo, IL., Jason Smith (girlfriend Marcie Karnes) of Brownstown, IL. ; Daughter, Jessica Dye (husband Jason) Beecher City, IL.; brother, Tom Stewart (wife Alice) of Brownstown, IL.; two sisters, Patsy Graumenz (husband Roy) of Mt. Zion, IL., Ann Mills (husband Glen) of Brownstown, IL.; three sister-n- laws, Bernice Scoles of St. Elmo, IL., Barb Stewart of Brownstown, IL., Ruth Ann Stewart of Brownstown, IL.; four grandchildren, Caden Stewart of St. Elmo, IL., Mykaela Dye of Beecher City, IL., Madison Dye of Beecher City, IL., Max Dye of Beecher City, IL., and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bill Stewart and Bob Stewart.
