Mary Ellen Ingram, age 82, formerly of St. Peter, Illinois passed away at 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday, June 09, 2015 at Lutheran Care Center in Altamont, Illinois.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood, Illinois with a one hour viewing prior to the service. Visitation will be Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood, Illinois. Bobby Ingram will be officiating. Burial will be at Keen's Chapel Cemetery in Larkinsburg Township. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors or donor's choice.

Mary was born on July 07, 1932 in Clay County, Illinois, the daughter of Louie and Neoma (Pauley) Simmons. She married Richard (Dick) Ingram on August 29, 1950 in Edgewood, Illinois and he preceded her in death on August 06, 1996.

She is survived by her two sons, Keith of Edgewood, Illinois and Rowan (wife Debbie) of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; two daughters, Twylla of Champaign, Illinois and Tamara (husband John) of Champaign, Illinois; brother, Jesse (Irma) Simmons; two sisters, Reida (Sonny) Hites and Glenda (Robert) Strackeljohn; 6 grandchildren, Jason, Chad, Brandi, Jarred, Carson, and Jorri; 3 great-grandchildren, Dylan, Sammy, and Landon; 3 step great-grandchildren, Howie, Romy, and Ireland and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louie and Neoma Simmons; 5 brothers, Richard L. and Louie Paul Simmons, Verle Wayne Simmons and twin brothers, William and Marion Simmons; four sisters, Aleitha White, Gladys Zavala, Lila Braundmeier and Carolyn Tate.
