Obituary
Louise Reynolds, age 84, formerly of Centralia, IL, passed away at 8:54 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Heartland Christian Village in Neoga, IL.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Pagel Funeral Home in Edgewood, IL. There will be a two hour visitation prior to the service. Larry Vaughn will be officiating. Burial will be held at Iola Cemetery in Iola, IL. Memorials may be made to Iola Cemetery, Alzheimer's Association, or donor's choice.
Louise was born on August 24, 1930 in Iola, Illinois, the daughter of Lotie H. and Retha (Smith) Painter. She married Louis Emerson Reynolds on May 26, 1951 in Effingham, IL and he preceded her in death on November 28, 2008. She worked at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia, IL for several years as a Hospital Admitting Clerk. She was a member of the First Church of God in Centralia, IL and she also enjoyed life with her husband and baking pies.
She is survived by her son, Emerson Reynolds (wife Patricia) of Ozark, MO; 3 daughters, Linda Broeckling (husband Dennis) of Salisbury, NC., Rebecca Roberts of Strasburg, IL., Nancy Moore of Cameron, NC.; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer Myers (husband Cory), Eric Broeckling (wife Kristen), James Broeckling (wife Liza), Bethany Grannan (husband Travis), Holly Reynolds, Ivy Reynolds, Emily Hunt (husband Shannon) and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lotie and Retha Painter; husband, Louis Reynolds; 3 brothers, Lowell Painter, Bud Painter and Ward Painter; one sister, Helen Stewart; one grandson, Matthew Broeckling who died in infancy.
