Michael Steven Campbell, age 66, of Kinmundy, Illinois passed away at 3:55 a.m. Thursday, April 23, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

There will be a private graveside service on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Keen's Chapel Cemetery in rural Edgewood, Illinois. Josh Conley will be officiating. Memorials may go to Keen's Chapel Cemetery or the donor's choice.

Michael was born on August 17, 1953 in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Elmer "Duane" and Florence Ivalee (Huffman) Campbell. He married Ella Mulvaney on May 16, 1981 at Kinmundy Christian Church. He enjoyed watching country western tv shows and old sitcoms and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Ella Campbell of Kinmundy, Illinois; sons,  Duane Campbell of Kinmundy, Illinois and Scott Campbell (wife Sarah) of Farina, Illinois; brothers, Gerald "Jerry" Campbell of Salem, Illinois, Dean Campbell (wife Margaret) of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; sister, Debbie Althoff (husband Mark) of Naples, Florida; brothers-in-law, Larry Schaefer of Sandy, Utah and Larry Mulvaney Sr. (wife Sheryl) of Villa Grove, Illinois; three grandchildren, Mason, Piper, and Saylor all of Farina, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer "Duane" and Florence Campbell; brother, Larry Campbell; sisters, Diane Schaefer and Connie Colclasure; nephews, Kevin Schaefer and Kris Mulvaney; mother and father-in-law, Art and Betty Mulvaney; sister-in-law, Sharon Campbell.
