Patricia Ann Davis, 86, of St. Elmo, Illinois, passed away on August 3, 2014 at 1:18 p.m. at her home in St. Elmo, IL.

The funeral will be at C & A Pagel Funeral Home in St. Elmo, IL on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with a one hour viewing prior to the service. PeeWee Denton will be officiating. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. at C & A Pagel Funeral Home. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in St. Elmo, IL. Memorials may be made to the Avena Township Cemeteries or donor's choice, in lieu of flowers.

Patricia was born in Crescent, OK on March 16, 1928, the daughter of William L. and Helen F. (Vick) Fleming. Patricia married William B. Davis on July 4, 1948 in Hernando, Mississippi who preceded her in death on May 16, 2004. She worked as a switchboard operator for the local phone company and she also owned and worked as an office manager at Davis Chevrolet in St. Elmo, IL. for several years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, AARP, 8-40 Salon #375 of Vandalia, and Eastern Star Melrose Chapter Vandalia #243.  She enjoyed being with friends and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her four sons, Charles Davis (wife Neila) of Chicago, IL., Mike Davis of St. Elmo, IL., Donald Davis (wife Ashley) of Vandalia, IL., and Kevin Davis of Vandalia, IL.; two sisters, Elizabeth Michael of Shelbyville, IL., Martha Pankey of St. Elmo, IL.; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and also two special caregivers, Becky and Alma.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brother-in-laws, Avon Michael, John Pankey, William Berg and one daughter-in-law, Melody Davis.
