Patricia "Pat" A. Bowen, 74, of Edgewood, IL passed away at 4: 37 a.m. Monday, November 03, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Funeral service will be held at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood, IL. on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with a one hour viewing prior to service. Mark White will be officiating. Burial will be at Mason Cemetery. Visitation will be at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood, IL. on Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Lincoln Land Hospice or Mason Cemetery.

Pat was born on January 27, 1940 in Annesville, NY., the daughter of Arthur and Shirley (Knecht) Young. She married Edsel Bowen on April 13, 1957 in Knox, IN. She was a union laborer #695 & #1048. Pat worked for Howell Paving for 17 years. She was an Avon Representative in the Presidents Club level for several years. She enjoyed bingo, gardening, ginseng and mushroom hunting, and spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandkids.

She is survived by her two sons, Randy Bowen (wife Nancy) of Altamont, IL., Bob Bowen (wife Corletta) of Edgewood, IL.; three daughters, Sherri Roedl (husband Terry) of Edgewood, IL., Pam Sapp (husband Carl) of Edgewood, IL., Vicki Yocum (husband Todd) of Edgewood, IL.; four brothers, Tom Young (wife Rose) of Michigan, Gary Henderson (wife Sandy) of Mason, IL., Lynn Henderson (wife Barb) of Salem, IL., Bruce Henderson (wife Vera) of Sigel, IL.; three sisters, Shirley Bartels of Mason, IL., Bette Gillmore (husband John) of Edgewood, IL., Gail Yocum (husband David) of Lasalle, IL.; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Shirley Young; husband, Edsel Bowen; son, Ike Bowen; daughter, Kelly Jean Bowen; two brothers, Dick Young and Arthur Young; grandson, Nathan Bowen.
