Obituary
Patrick Greear, 78, of Edgewood, IL passed away at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, November 02, 2014 at his residence.
Memorial service on Friday, November 7, 2014 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the American Legion post # 1168 in Edgewood, IL. Eulogy will be at 5 p.m. with Military Funeral Honored following.
Patrick was born on December 21, 1935 in Larkinsburg Township. The son of William and Iva (Sapp) Greear. He was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed reading and watching Cardinal baseball games. Memorials may be made to American Legion #1168
He is survived by his son,Patrick Shane Greear of Effingham, IL.; daughter, Kathleen Barnes of Effingham, IL.; brothers, Don (wife Barbara) Greear of Alabama and "Tex" Greear (wife Sharon) of Urbana, IL.; and 5 grandchildren, Cole, Waylon, and Kaylin Greear and Jesse and Savanna Barnes.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Iva Greear; 5 brothers, Dale, Lee, Joseph, Rod, and Larry Greear; sisters, Goldie Webster, Yvonne White and Avis Greear.
