Paul W. Schneider, age 73, of Kinmundy, Illinois passed away at 1:11 p.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2023 in Maryville, Illinois.

Funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood. Masonic Rites will be performed by the Kinmundy Masonic Lodge at 11:30 a.m. with visitation from 10 to 11:30 a.m.  James Mulvaney will be officiating. Interment will be at Phillips Cemetery in Omega, Illinois. Memorials may go to the donor's choice.

Paul was born on March 8, 1950 in Farina, Illinois, the son of Ervin H. and Anna M. (Potter) Schneider. He found great interest in collecting coins and going to car shows. Paul's favorite past time was drinking his coffee and getting out and going for walks.

He is survived by his daughters, Kelly Grzegorek (husband Bob) of Alma, Carrie Schneider of Salem, Carisa Livesay (husband Rick) of Salem, Kimberly Schneider (companion Chris) of Walnut Hill, and Tia Gonzalez (husband Aldaro) of Effingham; brothers, Leroy Schneider (wife Barb) of Mason and Denzel Schneider of Illinois; sisters, Judy Diss of Kinmundy and Carla Lyons of Salem, Darla Schneider of Florida; grandchildren, Kody Grzegorek (wife Shaelyn), Kanady Markley (husband Trevor), Mackenzie Weatherwalk (husband Matt), Gage Berning (companion Shannon), Dustin Hulsey (companion Trina), Savannah Combs (companion Jeremy), Destiny Harris (husband Max); and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
