Pauline M. Depoister, 85, of Beecher City, formally of Mason, went to be with her Lord at 8:05 a.m., Sunday, May 4, 2014 in St. Anthony Memorial Hospital, Effingham, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 in Pagel Funeral Home, Edgewood, IL, with visitation Tuesday, May 6, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and also one hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Keen's Chapel Cemetery, Clay County, rural Farina, IL. Memorial may be made to Keen's Chapel Cemetery Fund or donor's choice.

Pauline was born on June 27, 1928 in Oskaloosa Twp., Clay County, Illinois, the daughter of Lewis and Anna (Simmons) Hawkey. She married Joseph (Joe) W. Depoister on December 15, 1945 in Effingham, IL. He passed away on March 19, 1994. Pauline was a housewife and had worked at Norge/Fedders Corp in Effingham for 28 years, retiring in 1985. She attended the Greenland Baptist Church, rural Beecher City, IL., for many years. She loved mowing her yard, talking with family and friends, and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. Her family was very special to her.

She is survived by her son: Larry of Edgewood and daughter: Shelia Frailey of Beecher City, IL. Grandchildren: Rebecca (husband Ronald) Reed of Beecher City, IL, Aaron (wife Jackie) Frailey of Bakersfield, CA; Kimberly (Depoister) Atkins of Effingham, IL., and Toby Depoister of Effingham, IL. Great-grandchildren: Wesley Atkins, Faith Doty, Seth Doty, Lauren Frailey and Morgan Frailey. Sisters: Cleta Jones of Tampa, FL.; Brothers: Lewis "Bud" (wife Veda) Hawkey of Lawton, OK., and Rolland (wife Vera) of Watson, IL, and many neices and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her: parents; husband Joe; daughter: Charlotte; daughter-in-law: Madonna; son-in-law: Robert Frailey; brothers: Ellsworth, Harold, Earl, Kenneth and Jerry Hawkey; sisters: Mildred Bermingham, Ailene Hawkey and Imogene Beasley.
