Peggy Ann Sapp, age 71, of Edgewood, Illinois passed away at 9:56 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Illinois.

There will be no services at this time per the family's request. Memorials may go to the family or donor's choice.

Peggy was born on November 10, 1945 in Edgewood, Illinois, the daughter of Oscar and Mary (Lance) Depoister. She married Ralph Sapp on September 18, 1960 in Edgewood, Illinois. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Sapp of Edgewood, Illinois; three sons, Gary Sapp (wife Deanne) of Farina, Illinois, Jerry Sapp (wife Angela) of LaClede, Illinois, Larry Sapp (wife Leanne) of LaClede, Illinois; six daughters, Terri Engel (husband Brad) of Kinmundy, Illinois, Mary Phillips (husband Robert) of Farina, Illinois, Sherri Vogel (husband Steve) of Farina, Illinois, Tammie Glass (husband Alan) of LaClede, Illinois, Julie Vaughn (husband Brien) of West Branson, Missouri, Kim Glass (husband Larry) of Louisville, Illinois; brother, Ernie Depoister (wife Kathy) of LaClede, Illinois; two sisters, Freda Simmons (husband Glenn) of LaClede, Illinois, Barbara Hassebrock (husband Bill) of LaClede, Illinois; 20 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Mary Depoister; two brothers in infancy, Oscar Alvie Depoister and Alvie Oscar Depoister; sister, Loretta Lynn Depoister; grandchild, Ryan Neal Sapp.
