Randall Crocket Sr., age 77, of Brownstown, Illinois passed away the morning of Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Springhill Cemetery in rural Beecher City. PeeWee Denton will be officiating. Memorials may go to Effingham County Humane Society or the donor's choice.

Randall was born on March 22, 1947 in Beech Grove, Arkansas, the son of Marvin and Martha (Bennett) Crockett. He married Brenda Forbes on February 24, 1979 in Logan, Iowa.  Randall enjoyed playing pool, mowing the yard, watching birds, going to his grandkids' sporting events, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a kind soul that never knew a stranger.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Crockett of Brownstown; sons, Josh Crockett (Amanda) of Ramsey, Randall Crockett Jr. (Stephanie) of Mattoon, Dustin Crockett (Jamie) of Vandalia; daughters, Trina Crockett of Vandalia and Christina Marrow of Lincoln; sister, Lois Miller (Fred) of Pennsylvania; 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Martha Crockett; brothers, Sterling, Kenneth, Carl, Baby Randall, Stanley, J.W., and Eudors; sisters, Mozell, Marie, Lucille, Wanda, and Baby Bonnie.
