Ricky Lee Elam, age 56, passed away at 4:45 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in O'Fallon, Illinois.

Funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 12, 2022 at Watson Baptist Church in Watson, Illinois with a one-hour visitation prior to the service. Becky DeWeese will be officiating. Burial will be at Watson Cemetery. Memorials may go to Pagel Funeral Homes to help with funeral expenses.

Ricky was born on October 28, 1966 in Stockton, California, the son of Harlan G. and Sarah S. (Deweese) Elam. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, camping, gardening, watching YouTube videos, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his sons, Shawn Raymer of Wheeler and Joseph Raymer (Miriah) of Watson; daughters, Rikki Elam (Dillon) of Mattoon and Brittni Elam (Sammy) of Effingham; brothers, Harlan Elam and Travis Elam of Effingham; sister, Sally Meyer (Thomas) of Watson; unofficially adopted children, Aaron Koester of Watson, Adam Warren of Watson, and Samantha March of Riverton, WY; sisters-in-law, Sarah Ullrich of Mason and Kelly Seaton of Effingham; and his fur babies, Baby, Hades, Eden

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harlan and Sarah Elam and sister, Kimberly Sue Elam.
