Robert "Bob" Howard Stewart, age 56, of Altamont, Illinois passed away at 4:26 p.m. Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

There will be a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Edgewood Cemetery in Edgewood, Illinois. Joe Flowers will be officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held after at the Edgewood American Legion. Memorials may go to Crossroads Cancer Center, American Heart Association, Foundation for Alcoholism Research, or the donor's choice.

Bob was born on June 3, 1965 in Steger, Illinois, the son of F. Howard and Billie J. (Whitsell) Stewart. He loved gardening and could grow just about anything, motorcycles, fishing, bonfires, being outside, and family get togethers.

He is survived by his daughter, Shelby Stewart of Neoga, Illinois; sisters, Jody Doyle of Altamont, Illinois and Linda Rose (husband Joe) of Edgewood, Illinois; he was especially close to his nieces and nephews, Amber Rose, Autumn Rose, Ashley Ruholl, Alyssa Ruholl, Alice Doyle, Jeff Doyle, Brad Ruholl, Alan Poe, Jay Sheehan, Aiden Rose, Bryar Ruholl, and Zeppelin Sheehan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Billie Stewart; sister, Julie Holman; brother-in-law, Scott Doyle; and nephew, Greg Doyle.
