Ronald Gary McArtor, age 67, of Brownstown, Illinois passed away at 5:24 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his family.

There will be no services at this time. Memorials may go to Pagel Funeral Homes, Crossroads Cancer Center, National Kidney Foundation, or the donor's choice.

Ronald was born on July 7, 1954 in Effingham County, Illinois, the son of Donald and Wanda (Walls) McArtor. He married Vicki L. Nickerson on May 31, 1980 at Forbes State Park, Illinois. He loved watching tv and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki McArtor of Brownstown, Illinois; son, Bradley Nickerson of Brownstown, Illinois; daughter, Misty Nickerson-Cisney (companion Andrew Nuding) of St. Elmo, Illinois; sister, Karen Williams of Texas; two grandchildren, Malerie Nickerson and Harmony Cisney.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Wanda McArtor.
