Ronald "Ronnie" James Pasley, age 48, of St. Elmo, Illinois passed away at 11:36 a.m. Monday, July 3, 2023 in Loudon Township.

Funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at the New Horizon Church in St. Elmo, Illinois with a one-hour visitation prior to service.  PeeWee Denton will be officiating. Interment will take place at Springhill Cemetery in rural St. Elmo. Memorials may go to Pagel Funeral Homes to help with funeral expenses.

Ronnie was born on October 19, 1974 in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Ronald M. Pasley and Nancy Prater. He loved fishing, going to the races in Brownstown, four-wheeler riding, and spending time with his family, friends, and fur babies.

He is survived by his parents, Ron Pasley (wife Jeanne) of Edgewood and Nancy Bush of St. Elmo; sisters, Michelle Osborne (husband Ronald) of Altamont and Brandi May of Vandalia; two nieces, one nephew, six great-nieces, three great-nephews and his fur babies, Molly and Frankie.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and stepdad, Jim Bush.
