Ronald Dale Wollin, age 75, of St. Peter, Illinois passed away at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Vandalia Rehab and Heath Care Center.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Salem Lutheran Church. Pastor Mike Feldmann will be officiating. Memorials may go to the family or donor's choice.

Ron was born on June 2, 1948 in Vandalia, Illinois, the son of Walter and Rema (Reiss) Wollin. On July 14, 1984, Ron married Sally Beckmeier at St. Peter's Lutheran Church; they were blessed with two children, Zachariah Dale and Sarah Jane. Ron was a lifelong farmer and a member of the Salem Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sally Wollin of St. Peter; son, Zachariah Dale Wollin (Heather) of Shobonier; daughter, Sarah Jane York (Clayton) of Vandalia; his twin brother, Don Wollin (Melissa) of Vandalia; sister, Diane Campbell of Mackinaw; three grandchildren, Jason White, Charles and Avery Wollin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and brother-in-law.
