Rose Phoebe Cave, age 88, of Farina, Illinois passed away at 11:20 a.m. Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Lutheran Care Center in Altamont.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 17, 2023 at Friedens United Church of Christ in Farina, Illinois with a one-hour visitation prior to the service. Jim Giffin will be officiating. The burial will be at Farina Cemetery. Memorials may go to Friedens United Church of Christ in Farina or the donor's choice.

Rose was born on July 15, 1934 in Streator, Illinois, the daughter of Joseph and Bertha (Monts) Cave. She was a very loyal employee as she worked at Sears for 32 years. She loved to do landscaping, socializing with people and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her brother, Robert Cave of Streator and her best friend, Jeanne Goossens.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Bertha H. Cave; brothers, Ralph, Roy, Ray, and Sherman Cave; sisters, Mabel Whalen, Bertha Cave, and Leona Kreiser.
