Sadie Ellen Wright, age 84, of Watson, Illinois passed away at 6:48 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Effingham Health and Rehab Center.

Memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 09, 2016 at Harvest Methodist Church in Edgewood, Illinois. Jeff Morrison and  Rick Miller will be officiating. Burial will be at Watson Cemetery in Watson, Illinois. Memorials may go to Pagel Funeral Homes to defer funeral costs or donor's choice.

Sadie was born on December 11, 1931 in Effingham County, the daughter of George Aden and Audrey Gladys (Rogers) Smith. She married Herschel R. Wright on December 11, 1965. She was a member of the Effingham Assembly of God and loved to spend time with friends and family.

She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Wright of Watson, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Audrey Smith and husband, Herschel Wright.
