Sandra Jean Rose, age 58, of Effingham, Illinois passed away at 1:40 a.m. Thursday, October 27, 2022 at her home.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 31, 2022 at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood with a two-hour viewing prior to the service. Jeff Morrison will be officiating. Burial will be at Bethsaida Cemetery in rural Dieterich. Memorials may go to the family or the donor's choice.

Sandy was born on July 30, 1964 in Effingham, Illinois, the daughter of Richard O. and Carol J. (Krumviede) Jacobs. She was a 1982 graduate from Dieterich High School. She then went on to Lakeland College and graduated with a degree in Computer Science. Sandy was known for her pride and adoration for loved ones, including her loyal dogs. She was a great collector of many things, compassionate, helpful, and always saw the best in people.

She is survived by her mother, Carol Jacobs of Effingham; husband, Kenneth Rose of Arkansas; son, Kyle Worman (Angela) of St. Louis, Missouri; daughter, Sarah Williams (Rob) of Effingham; brother, Richard Jacobs Jr. of Champaign; sister, Barb Staser (Jeff) of Effingham; grandchildren, Jaclynn, Lilly, Clare, and Kallie.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Jacobs Sr; paternal grandparents, Oral and Leota Jacobs; maternal grandparents, Burton and Aldine Krumviede.
