Sara Jane (Wagoner) Stahl, age 78, long time resident of Watson, Illinois passed away the evening of Saturday, March 1, 2025 on the 5th floor of St Anthony's Hospital where she worked as an RN for over 25 years.

Born February 5th, 1947 to Rudolf "Slim" Wagoner and Betty (Oder) Wagoner.   She graduated from Hiawatha High School in Kirkland, Illinois in 1965 and the Sweedish-American Nursing School in (year?). She was a long-time member of St Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Altamont.  Sara married the love of her life William Stahl on October 5, 1968 who preceded her in death on August 6th, 2022.

Surviving her are numerous cousins; sister-in-law, Karol Grandgeorge of Somonauk, Illinois; brothers-in-law, Doug Stahl (wife Linda) and Ed Stahl (wife Anne) also of Somonauk, Illinois; close friend, Jake Beckman of Watson, Illinois who was like a son to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Betty Wagoner; beloved husband, Bill Stahl; in-laws, William and Aileen Stahl.
