Todd Alan Smith, age 34 of Farina, Illinois passed away at 10:39 a.m. on Monday, May 18, 2015 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Friedens United Church of Christ in Farina, Illinois with one hour viewing prior to service. Burial will be at the Farina Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Friedens United Church of Christ. Memorials may be made to the family or to the donor's choice. Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood, Illinois is handling arrangements.

Todd was born on April 13, 1981 in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Keith and Linda (Dunmore) Smith. Todd loved sitting outside watching trains and firetrucks and when he could get a chance he loved to go to the Farina Fire department and ride in the firetrucks.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Smith of Farina,  IL.; four sisters, Jennifer and Nicole Smith both of Farina, IL., Ashley Smith of Watson, IL., Toby Smith of Patoka, IL.; 12 nieces and nephews; one great-nephew; special friend, Chris Kuhlman.

He was preceded in death by his father, Keith Smith in 2011; grandparents, Joyce Thrash, Roy Dunmore, Gene and Iris Smith; two uncles, Kenny and Carl Smith.
