Tommy Allen Edwards, age 72, of Effingham, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2024 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

There will be no services at this time. Memorials may go to the St. Judes' Children Hospital, Shriners Hospital for Children or the donor's choice.

Tommy was born on October 16, 1951 in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Donald L. and Reba C. (Hodge) Edwards. He married Linda Kuhlman on February 14, 1970 at the Mason Christian Church. He was a member of the Edgewood Masonic Lodge. He loved to fish, hunt, and play golf. He was at his happiest spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Edwards of Effingham; son, Ryan Edwards of Watson; daughter, Sherry Kalber (husband Jody) of Effingham; sister, June Solomon (husband Joe) of Effingham; three grandchildren, Shelby Walker, Damon Kalber, and Lindy Kalber; two great-grandchildren, Ava Wright and Layne Wright.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Reba Edwards and sister, Donna Banning.
