Tracie Ann Pontious, age 56, of Mason, Illinois passed away at 3:45 p.m. on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Flora Rehab and Health Care Center in Flora, Illinois.

Funeral service will be Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Pagel Funeral Home in Edgewood, Illinois with a one-hour viewing prior to the Service. Brenda Byers will be officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 17, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at Keen's Chapel Cemetery in rural Farina, Illinois. Memorials may be made to Keen's Chapel Cemetery or the donor's choice.

Tracie was born on April 11, 1965 in Effingham, Illinois to Ralph W. Simmons and Mary Etta (Bass) Simmons. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, scratching lottery tickets, playing bingo, shopping, sitting outside under the shade tree and she loved animals, especially her dog, Zoey.

She is survived by her two daughters, Ashley Bowen (husband Jason) of Farina, Illinois and Macci Long (husband Jacob) of Rocky Comfort, Missouri; two brothers, Joey Simmons (wife Penny), of Mode, Illinois, Hal Simmons, (wife Diane) of Mason, Illinois; one sister, Sandy Colclasure (husband Kenten) of Farina, Illinois; 8 grandchildren Levi, Jacob, Jason and Rodney Bowen and Zaiden and Gannon Lock, Dalayna and Paisley Long.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Mary Etta Simmons, two brothers, Rex Simmons and Ralph Simmons, Jr.; one sister, Madonna Depoister and one son-in-law, Zach Lock.
