Vaudith Lavelle Logue, age 90 of Beecher City, Illinois passed away at 6:50 p.m. Friday, January 09, 2015 at her daughter's home in Sullivan, Illinois.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at C & A Pagel Funeral Home in St. Elmo, Illinois. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2015 with one hour viewing prior to service at the funeral home.
Ken Fookes will be officiating. Burial will take place at Springhill Cemetery, rural St. Elmo, (wright's corner area) following service.
Memorials may be made to Springhill Cemetery or donor's choice.
Vaudith was born on April 30, 1924 in Loudon Township, the daughter of Samuel Robert and Bertha Ethel (Luckett) Myers. She married Dorsie Wilson Logue on September 6, 1942 in St. Charles, Missouri.
She was a member of the Altamont Ladies Auxiliary and a lifetime member of the Altamont VFW. She loved flowers, crocheting, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her three daughters, Judy Wilkins and Lulu Belle Morris, both of Sullivan, IL. and Pamila Brown (husband Mike Sr.) of Trout, Louisiana; two sons, Rodney Logue of Effingham, Illinois and Pat Logue of Florence, Mississippi; one brother, Myron Myers (wife Mary) Cowden, Illinois; Two sisters, Erma Fair and Jaunita Tomlinson both of Beecher City, Illinois; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Bertha Myers; husband, Dorsie Logue on September 20, 1974; one son, Scotty Logue; five brothers, George, Gerald, David, Marvin and Marvel; two sisters, Margie Blurton and Leora Newburn and one great grandson, Daniel Logue.
