Vicki L. McArtor, age 66 , of Brownstown, Illinois passed away at 11:55 a.m. on Monday, August 15, 2022 at her home in Brownstown, surrounded by her family.

There will be no services per her family's request. Memorials may go to Pagel Funeral Homes to help with costs.

Vicki was born on September 27, 1955 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Howard and Luella (Foster) Nickerson. She married Ronald Gary McArtor on May 31, 1980 at Forbes State Park. Vicki enjoyed scrapbooking and being crafty. She had a love for animals, especially dogs and birds. She enjoyed making toys for her birds and had a passion for making ceramics, including dolls. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Brad Nickerson of Brownstown; daughter, Misty Nickerson-Cisney (Andrew Nuding) of St. Elmo; brother, Roger Nickerson (wife Linda) of Georgia; twin sister, Valerie Ellis of Brownstown; two cherished grandchildren, Malerie Nickerson and Harmony Cisney; and her fur-grandchildren, Gus and Caramel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Luella Nickerson; her beloved husband, Ronald McArtor; brothers, Harry Nickerson and Gary Nickerson; and sister, Sandra Tapp.
