Wanda L. (Haney) Wilson, age 83, of Mattoon, Illinois passed away at 12:00 p. m. Sunday, February 5, 2017 at the Lakeland Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Effingham, Illinois.

Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 09, 2017 at Edgewood Cemetery in Edgewood, Illinois. Jim Giffin will be officiation. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, February 09, 2017 at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood, Illinois. Memorials may go to Edgewood Cemetery or donor's choice.

Wanda was born on September 09, 1933 in LaClede, Illinois, the daughter of William W. and Edith B. (Whitt) Sapp. She married Frederick J. Wilson on July 28, 1978 in Covington, Indiana. She loved her animals, enjoyed crocheting, working in her yard and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her two sons, Clarence Haney (wife Kathy) of Effingham, Illinois and Tom Haney of Arkansas; daughter, Vanessa Haney (special friend, Steve Arnold) of Toledo, Illinois; 7 grandchildren 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Edith Sapp; husband, Frederick J. Wilson and brother, Charles Sapp
