William Daniel "Bill" Burr, age 76, of Iuka, Illinois passed away on November 2, 2025 at Odin Healthcare Center in Odin, Illinois.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 PM on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Pagel Funeral Home in Edgewood, Illinois. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 PM, and Friday, November 7, 2025, from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Oskaloosa Cemetery. Kent Robinson will be presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriner's Organization, Salem Humane Society, or the donor's choice.

Bill was born on March 25, 1949, the son of James R. Burr and Alice I. Surrels. He married his sweetheart, Shirley on June 10, 1976 at the Iola Baptist Church in Iola, Illinois. He loved working on wood crafts, running a scrap yard, and especially spending time talking and visiting with family and friends. He also had a little dog he loved dearly, Honey Bunny. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bill is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley; sons, William Burr and Bobby Burr; 6 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild with another on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Alice Burr; brothers, John, Jim, Jerry, and Donald; and sisters, Joyce and Jenny.
