Clifford A. Mueller

Clifford Mueller, age 56, of Stewardson, Illinois passed away at 1:03 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2020 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign, Illinois.

A celebration of life will be at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to Pagel Funeral Homes at 100 North Olive Street, St. Elmo, Illinois 62458 to offset funeral expenses.  

Clifford was born on January 4, 1964 in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Calvin Mueller and Opal D. (Ballinger) Mueller.  He married Susan L. Willis on June 2, 1990 in Stewardson, Illinois.  He was a truck driver and enjoyed drawing house plans.                       

He is survived by his wife, Susan Mueller of Stewardson, IL.; three brothers, Corky Mueller (wife Betty) of Stewardson, Illinois, Cobe Mueller (wife Kathy) of Effingham, Illinois, Clark Mueller (wife Barb) of Effingham, Illinois; two sisters, Cathie Underwood and Carol Blythe (husband Steve) of Stewardson, Illinois; good friends, Bill and Linda Rogers of Stewardson, Illinois, Mitchell and Hope Shuff and Lacey Stigers of Shelbyville, Illinois, and Sheila and Jacklyn Atwell of Neoga, Illinois; brothers-in-law, George Willis (wife Donna) of Teutopolis, Illinois and Doug Claar of Effingham, Illinois and his cat Fluffy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Opal Mueller; mother-in-law, Donna Claar and one nephew, Brandon Schoonover.
