Harold K. Cain Jr., age 62, of Mason, Illinois passed away at 9:39 a.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Heartland Senior Living in Neoga, Illinois, surrounded by his family.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 13, 2021 at Jackson Township Baptist Church in Altamont, Illinois with a two-hour visitation prior to the service. Ronnie Newman will be officiating. Burial will be at Jackson Township Baptist Church Cemetery in Altamont, Illinois. Memorials may go to Heartland Senior Living Nursing Home, Edgewood American Legion, or donor’s choice.

Harold’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thank you to Heartland Senior Living Nursing Home for all their care during his time at their facility.

Harold was born on January 7, 1959 in Decatur, Illinois, the son of Harold K. Sr and Lawanda June (Ullrich) Cain. He was a member of the Edgewood American Legion Post#1168. Harold worked as a laborer most of his life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, listening to country music, riding motorcycles and mules, racing dirt bikes, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his brothers, Howard Cain (wife Amy) of Mason, Illinois, James Cain (wife Amy) of Boss, Missouri, Mike Cain of Mason, Illinois, and Darryl Cain (wife Terri) of Mason, Illinois; sister, Kathy Cramsey (husband Lee) of Mason, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Sr. and Lawanda June Cain; grandparents; and several uncles.
