James William Bush

James “Jim” William Bush Sr., age 73 of St. Elmo, Illinois, passed away at 4:35 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2021, in Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Illinois.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 15, 2021, at the New Horizon Church, St. Elmo, Illinois with a visitation one hour prior to service. Peewee Denton will be officiating. Jim was born June 24, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of John and Charlotte (Simcox) Bush.  He was married to Nancy (Prater) Bush for 18 years. Jim loved spending time with his family. Jim, his wife, and daughter were a part of a country western dance team. Jim enjoyed singing karaoke, yard selling, fishing, his church, and making people laugh.

Jim is survived by his wife, Nancy Bush, St. Elmo, IL; two sons, Jimi Bush, Jr of Effingham, Illinois, and Ronnie Pasley of St. Elmo, Illinois; daughter, Michelle Osborne (husband Ronald) of Altamont, Illinois; three brothers, Jerry Bush of Altamont, Illinois, and Carlo Fiandalo of Chicago, Illinois, and John Bush; two sisters, Jeanne Price of Fort Myers, Florida, and Diane Fiandalo of Chicago, Illinois; one grandson, Austin Bush of Robinson, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Charlotte Bush and sister, Jody Pagel.
