Jedda Santos

Jedda EllieAnna Vicki Bernice Santos, age 6, of LaClede, Illinois passed away at 6:57 a.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas in Austin, Texas surrounded by her family.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Pagel Funeral Home in Edgewood, Illinois with a one-hour viewing prior to the service.  Judy Poe will be officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood, Illinois.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses or to the donor’s choice.  

Jedda was born July 19, 2012 in Effingham, Illinois the daughter of Adrian Santos, Jr. and Marissa Dawn (Whipple) Santos. Jedda loved fishing, singing, 4-wheeler riding, YouTube videos, and high heeled shoes. She was loved and adored by all her family and those that knew her.

Jedda is survived by her parents, Adrian and Marissa Santos of LaClede, Illinois; one sister, Tinley Santos of LaClede, Illinois; grandparents, Abie Whipple Jr. and Vicki Whipple of LaClede, Illinois, Bernice Santos of Bastrop, Texas; great-grandmother, Laura Whipple of LaClede, Illinois; great-grandfather, Frank Cardin of Clinton, Indiana; great-grandmother, Connie Hoover of Dieterich, Illinois; aunts, Kelly Whipple (husband Torry) of LaClede, Illinois, Barbara Jo Stanley (husband Jack) of Bastrop, Texas, April Valcenio (husband Christopher) of McAllen, Texas; numerous great aunts, great uncles and cousins.

Jedda was preceded in death by her grandfather, Adrian Santos Sr.; great-grandparents, Abie Whipple Sr., Verle Simmons, Juanita Santos, and Jesus Santos; uncle, Lonnie Whipple and aunt, Shirley Cardin.
