Linda Lou Morgan, age 80, of Edgewood, Illinois passed away at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at her home in Edgewood, Illinois.

There will be no services per Linda’s request. Memorials may go to Breast Cancer Research Foundation or the donor’s choice.

Vandalia, Illinois, the daughter of Pearl and Govina (Augustine) Gelsinger. She married Edward James Morgan on July 6, 1977. Linda enjoyed gardening, orchids, cooking, collecting things, and spending time with her family and friends.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Tena Smith of Edgewood, Illinois, Tracy Hendricks (husband Robert) of Shobonier, Illinois, and Trena Jones of Findlay, Illinois; sisters, Sharon Springer (husband Bill) of Effingham, Illinois and Jerri Shumard of Monticello, Illinois; grandchildren, Jonathan Jones, Michael Smith, Robbie Hendricks, Melinda Voltrain, Cory Tripp, Lindsey Tripp, Heather Tripp, and Brian Jr Tripp; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Govina Gelsinger; husband, Edward Morgan; brother, Ronald Gelsinger; sisters, Pat Stumborg and Sue Drewes.
