Lindell Lee Harper, age 82, of Edgewood, Illinois passed away at 11:55 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Illinois.

There will be a private family service. Memorials may go to donor’s choice.

Lindell was born on July 25, 1939 in Clay County, Illinois, the son of Dale and Lois (Byers) Harper. He married Patricia Corrie on December 11, 1965 in Kinmundy, Illinois. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, farming, and spending time with his family and friends. He served in the United States Army from April 1963- April 1965.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Harper of Edgewood, Illinois; son, Michael Harper (Missy) of Effingham, Illinois; daughter, Lori Huelskoetter (Paul Marshall) of Newton, Illinois; sister, Gwen Boone of Edgewood, Illinois; sister-in-law, Gladys See (Wayne) of Kinmundy, Illinois; three grandchildren, Blake Huelskoetter, Brody Harper, and Rachel Stanfield (Garrett); one great-grandchild, Gracelyn Stanfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Lois Harper; in-laws, Everett and Helen Corrie; brother-in-law, Dwayne Boone.
