Peggy J. Knight, age73, formerly of the Effingham area passed away at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Richland Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Olney, Illinois.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Pagel Funeral Home in Edgewood, Illinois with one hour visitation prior to service. Bud Bolt will be officiating. Burial will take place at Watson Cemetery in Watson, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Peggy was born on September 17, 1941 in Sailor Springs, Illinois, the daughter of Walter and Ressie (Holder) Bruner. She married Bobbie C. Knight on June 11, 1965 in Olney, Illinois. She loved sewing, crocheting, fishing and singing gospel music.

She is survived by her two sons, Roger Tyler of Claremont, Illinois and Ronnie Tyler of Fairfield, Illinois; one daughter, Pamela Tyler of Arizona; one sister, Bobbi Jarvis (husband Sam) of Olney, Illinois; 13 grandchildren; 12 great – grandchildren plus several nieces and nephews.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ressie Bruner; two brothers, C. W. Bruner and Lavone Bruner; two sisters, Daisy Cochran and Patsy Jean, who died in infancy.
