Percel John Robinson

Percel “Johnny” Robinson, 67, of Flora, Illinois passed away at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the Flora Rehab and Health Care Center in Flora, Illinois.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the Pagel Funeral Home in Edgewood, Illinois from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Military rites will be observed at 5:30 p.m.. Memorials may be made to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses or donor’s choice.  

Johnny was born on August 31, 1950, in Mattoon, Illinois to Don C. Robinson and Elsie J. (Yingst) Robinson. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.  Johnny loved the outdoors, fishing, mushroom hunting and giving people heck.

He is survived by one daughter, Cliffia Dial of Louisville, Illinois; three grandchildren, Kristin (fiancé Mike Butts)of Iola, Illinois, Rolin Rutledge (companion Riley Partin) of Louisville, Illinois, Dillan Harra (companion Alli Roberts) of Louisville, Illinois; three great grandchildren, Madilynn Harra, Braelynn Harra, Brynlee Harra and baby girl Harra on the way; his seven sisters, Pearl Tolliver of Louisville, Illinois, Phyllis Ort of Flora, Illinois, Pam Nichols (husband Gene) of Flora, Illinois, Paula Dulaney of Haubstadt, Indiana, Patsy Thompson (husband Terry) of Stockton, Iowa, Phebe Robinson (husband Russell) of Flora, Illinois, and Penny Robinson of Flora, Illinois; two brothers, Pete Robinson of Flora, Illinois, and Perry Robinson of Farina, Illinois; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Elsie Robinson, one brother Phillip Robinson and an ex-wife, Shelbie Steinkamp.
