Sandra "Sandy" Jean (Simmons) Colclasure

Sandra “Sandy” (Simmons) Colclasure, age 52, passed away at 5:13 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2020 at her home in LaClede, Illinois, surrounded by her family.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood, Illinois. There will be a one-hour viewing prior to the service.  Mark White will be officiating. Burial will be at Edgewood Cemetery in Edgewood, Illinois.

Sandy was born on September 1, 1967 in Effingham, Illinois, the daughter of Robert “Bob” and Florence (Davis) Simmons. Sandy and her husband, Ron, have been together for 33 years. She worked at Addus Health Care for 18 years and babysat for numerous kids over the years. She enjoyed collecting Precious Moments, taking care of the kids, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Colclasure of LaClede, Illinois; daughter, Jamie Nichole Colclasure; brothers, Dave Cochran (wife Gerri) of Edgewood, Illinois, Jerry “Beebe” Simmons of Edgewood, Illinois, and Robert “Bubbles” Simmons (wife Brenda) of Edgewood, Illinois; sisters, Dorothy “Dot” Depoister of Edgewood, Illinois, Joyce Liggett (husband Steve) of Waltonville, Illinois, Sherry Simmons of Edgewood, Illinois, Kathy Mosley (husband Michael) of Edgewood, Illinois, Pat Harmon (husband Gary) of Edgewood, Illinois, Pam Magnus (husband James) of St. Peter, Illinois, Lisa Merritt of Edgewood, Illinois, Sheila White (husband Butch) of Edgewood, Illinois; and two grandchildren; mother-in-law, Cleta Colclasure of Farina, Illinios; brother-in-law, Dale Colclasure (wife Janie) of Kinmundy, Illinois; sister-in-law, Tammy Owen (husband Bob) of Brownstown, Illinois; nieces-in-law, Danielle and Nikki Owen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Florence Simmons; daughters, Amy Lynn and Jasmine Sierra Colclasure; niece, Kacey Simmons.
