Susan Lynn Boone

Susan Lynn (Walter) Boone, age 76, of Louisville, Illinois passed away at 2:07 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Graveside service will be held at a later date at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Louisville, Illinois.

Susan was born on March 8, 1946 in Gary, Indiana and adopted by Russell and Byrtis Walter. She grew up in Indiana with her brother, Jack. Susan married her high school sweetheart, Benjamin Boone Sr. in 1969 in Gary, Indiana. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, with special appreciation of time spent with her fur babies. Susan had a very outgoing sense of humor that followed her to the end. She will be dearly missed by all.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Benjamin Boone Sr. of Louisville; her four children, Ben Boone Jr. (wife Rachael) of Watson, Michelle Hubbard (husband Jason) of Flora, Shannon Andruss (husband Jason) of Louisville, and Russ Boone of Effingham; brother, Jack Walter of Warsaw, Poland; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Byrtis Walter and several aunts and uncles.
