Dennis Lee, age 67, of Effingham, Illinois passed away at 11:45 a.m. Thursday, November 10, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 14, 2016 at the St. Peter Lutheran Church with one hour viewing prior to service. Rev. William Emrick will be officiating. Burial will be at the St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2016 at the Pagel Funeral Home in St. Peter, Illinois. Memorials may go to Carle Hospice Care, the St. Peter Lutheran Church or to the donor’s choice.

Dennis was born on May 27, 1949 in Vandalia, Illinois, the son of Charles and Arlene (Magnus) Lee. He graduated from Farina LaGrove High School in 1967. In 1969, he graduated from the United Electronics College in Louisville, Kentucky. His working career was with AT&T in Manchester, Missouri. In May of 2013, he relocated to Effingham, Illinois. He was a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church and an avid Cardinal fan.

He is survived by his mother, Arlene Lee of St. Peter, Illinois; brother, Jerry Lee (wife Twila) of Altamont, Illinois;3 nephews, Joey, Chet and Jared Lee and one niece, Nicholle.

Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lee.
