My deepest sympathies to Rose, Glenny, and all of Edith's family and friends. She will be greatly missed. I have fond memories of you all at the horse shows down at Watson and at the fairs. Throw your anxieties on God, because He cares for you. --1 Peter 5:7. May He guide you during this difficult time.

To all you kids and family I want to send sympathy and prayers to all of you. So many grand memories of your mom throughout the years . Could never count the times she has gone by and gave that friendly smile and wave. Loved her so much. In asking her once why she was still working she replied, If I quit I'd get old, never see anyone or die sitting in a chair. She enjoyed everyone and always had a good laugh for you at the end. You may be gone Edith but you will never be forgotten. Now you and Emma can be together again with other loved ones.

Was sadden to read of your mothers passing. I don't ever remember not knowing your mom what a lady. I think the last time I got to visit with her was at the fair last summer. I could see she was getting tired. But still had her smile. I'm pretty sure I learned to play pinochle sitting at the corner of the table watching your mom and dad and my parents play. She was such a good cook and could make the best pickles they were to die for. When I called Karen to tell her she and I were remembering things and Karen remembered giving Edith perms when her and Charles would be getting ready to go the Seabee reunions. She will be sadly missed by many but take comfort in knowing she was your mom and now she has joined some of her loved ones and that you will see her again someday. I feel blessed to have known her. We are sorry for the loss of your Mother. She was such a joy and enlightening person. We loved her to pieces. I (Mary) will always remember the cookie jar your Mom and Dad had. Your Mom and Dad were such a positive strength to us Easley kids when we were growing up. Love Ya Edie and will miss you terribly. Go fly high my friend.
