Mr Orr was my junior high science teacher and basketball coach at Dieterich. He was proof that someone can be humble, gentle, and humorous - and still earn respect and keep order in the classroom. As a coach, he taught us the value of working hard to achieve a goal and it was a joy to be a part of the winning teams he put together. I'd like to offer my most sincere condolences to his family.

Mr. Orr was a fun and interesting teacher. He always spoke fondly of his wife Debie. So sorry to hear of his passing. I am sure he will be missed by many. A class act guy. I still remember some of his assignments from 7th & 8th grade science like Ronnie red blood cell travelling through the body. I am very thankful to have had such a great teacher.

Mr Orr was an amazing person and teacher. He was so full of life and you can tell he lived it and loved it. He had a knack for telling stories and was so animated about them you couldn't help but smile along. And of course his love for classic rock! Every time it was always the doors, or the eagles or pink floyd while we cleaned our chem equipment (much to my dismay ;) )!! He will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all the students who were lucky enough to have been taught by him! RIP Mr Orr. You were loved and you are missed.
